We are OMRT, a funded scaleup on an important mission - to rebalance our habitat by providing technology! Our core
product is a 3D collaborative design platform that allows real estate professionals to design projects integrally,
iteratively, and rapidly. This platform lets partners in the real estate and construction industry design a sustainable,
feasible, and high-quality built environment by foreseeing its impact digitally. We call it Future Twinning, OMRT's digital
representation of the future build environment. Our goal is to make our collaborative design platform the standard in
the Netherlands by 2023 and the rest of Europe by 2025. We are already involved in building over 15% of the homes in
the Netherlands and plan to grow to over 30%. Our ambition is to double in size annually in terms of projects, value,
and customers, and we are on track to do so.
👓 You in a nutshell
A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a financial discipline, for example in Business Administration, Business Economics or Accountancy
3+ years experience in a similar role, in a financial department while managing the administration
Experience in Excel and different ERP systems (we use EBoekhouden but are planning to move to another system)
You are proactive in setting up and professionalising financial reporting
Experience in preparing annual accounts
You are involved in the budgeting process and provide the management with sound financial advice
In addition, you are closely involved in major projects from a financial point of view
You know better than anyone how important it is to maintain good internal and external contacts (including management, staff departments, internal and external finance networks, accountant)
A high level of written and spoken Dutch & English.
🦾 We are looking for a part-time financial controller to join us in this mission
Like the rest of the company, the financial side of OMRT is expanding and formalizing, and so we are looking for a controller that loves to transform goals into concise financial statements and KPI’s. OMRT’s management needs a sparring partner that can help them identify the right KPI’s for the several company divisions and how to incentivize them accordingly. We need someone with a strong ability to create the connection from the world of accounting to the people that have a non-financial background.
